About Weiss Practice Enhancement
My Philosophy
Weiss Practice Enhancement was formed from my belief that dentists deserve top-notch consulting at an affordable price. When you work with me, you can expect that I will bring a strong track record of working with dentists across the country as well as humor, compassion and organizational skills.
My Background
I began my career in practice management as the Curriculum Designer and Senior Consultant at Pride Institute where I designed a two-year leadership program serving 2,500 dentists. While at Pride, I wrote four management books for dentists on issues such as employee compensation, leading productive team meetings, phasing out of insurance and facilitating team trainings.
Over the last 20+ years, I have also been the direct consultant for hundreds of dentists nationwide with 95% of my clients re-signing to work with me year after year. It is immensely rewarding to build on these relationships and to see my clients’ growth.
As an early pioneer of experiential learning, I design workshops so that team members are actively engaged in learning new skills and developing insights into their behavior. I have published several articles about experiential training and I was the co-author of The Big Book of Humorous Training Games which represents my philosophy that learning should be fun and impactful.

What Makes Weiss Practice Enhancement Different?
You deserve a program tailored to your pace and style. Because we are an intentionally small firm, we do not drop you into a consulting conveyer belt with predetermined courses and targets. Every consulting call and team training is calibrated to your circumstances.
The focus is always on implementation: what you and the team can do differently in order to reach your goals. Unlike other consultants, we draw on a deep well of knowledge about motivational theory and experiential learning. We teach you skills grounded in research so that you can increase case acceptance, improve your patient and team relationships and feel more confident in responding to challenging situations.

We begin with three diagnostic questions:
